Job Advertisement : SEN Primary Class Teachers Needed in South West London (SW16)

Position : SEN Primary Class Teacher

Class Size : Up to 8 pupils, with 3 Teaching Assistants

Location : Southwest London, SW16

School : Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ SEN School

Start Date : ASAP

Hours : Full-Time, 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 00 PM

Contract : Temp-to-Perm

Salary : Paid to scale

About the Role :

Join a dedicated team at a top-rated SEN school for primary-aged students with Autism (ASD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). This is a great chance for teachers passionate about SEN education to make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and deliver tailored lessons for pupils with autism and other complex needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with TAs and support staff to meet pupils developmental needs.
  • Adapt teaching strategies based on individual progress.

Requirements :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – Open to Primary, Secondary, and SEN teachers.
  • Experience with Autism, PMLD, and severe learning needs.
  • Compassionate, proactive approach with strong teamwork skills.
  • DBS on the update service and right to work in the UK.
