Job descriptionFault finding, and carrying out repairs Undertaking Vehicle maintenance, servicing and running repairs on a varied fleet Ensure vehicles are maintained in accordance with the Company Operators Licence guidelines Ensure all repairs to company vehicles are carried out in a timely manner Preventative Maintenance Prompt repair of all defective vehicles to the highest standard The ability to work to the highest Health & Safety standards City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance, although qualification by experience will be considered. Previous experience of working on coaches and buses such as Volvo, Scania, Optare, Mercedes and Dennis PCV licence preferred but not essential (prepared to go through test) must have full driving licence with no more than 6 points to attend roadside Have proven Diagnostic skills and Electrical experience Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a HGV or PSV Technician / Mechanic Carry out routine inspections, maintenance and repairs on all makes of vehicles to DVSA standard 20 per hour for candidates with PSV or HGV. Training can be provided. 45 hour week. 28 days Annual Leave Monday to Friday early 0500 – 1500, days 0730 – 1730 Saturday morning and on call are based on a rota
