Home based role with 2 days a week in the Midlands

Fantastic Category Manager opportunity to join a food manufacturer who supplies both instantly recognisable brands & own label chilled quality products.

Our client has been present in the UK for over 50 years, having strategic partnerships is today one of the leading suppliers of their chilled products in the UK, not to mention exporting to over 110 countries.

Your role will be to develop & lead the strategic category vision growth opportunities within the major multiples.

Pulling on your proven existing experience within FMCG food Category Management, performing range & category performance reviews.

Confident at building & maintaining strong customer relationships, as your recommendations & analytical approach will influence the category agenda.

Flexible attitude, hands on “can do” approach, with the drive to succeed & capable of acting on your own initiative.

Cross functional working within many teams, therefore the ability to develop & maintain strong relationships is vital.

You will utilize a variety of data sources such as Kantar, Nielsen, & retail link. This will enable you to identify not just market trends, consumer insights & pricing along with commercial changes taking place but future growth opportunities across this fast-paced competitive market.

Team player, positive attitude, data driven, excellent eye for detail to create compelling reports.
