Location : Outskirts of Colchester, Essex

Pay : £ per hour

Hours : Monday to Friday, 07 : 30 - 17 : 00

Contract Type : Temporary with potential for long-term work

We are currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative on behalf of a well-established recycling facility located near outside Colchester. This is a hands-on role that contributes directly to reducing landfill waste and promoting sustainable practices.

Please note : Own transport is essential due to the site's location and lack of public transport.

Key Duties of the Recycling Operative :

Manually sorting recyclable materials on a fast-paced line

Assisting in quality control to ensure correct separation of waste streams

Light manual handling

Supporting the wider team to achieve daily throughput targets

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Candidate Requirements for the Recycling Operative :

Previous experience in a manufacturing and production, warehouse, or recycling environment preferred

Physically fit and comfortable with standing for long periods

Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexibly

Must have access to own transport
