Purpose

Working within the Operational Support Service (OSS), the role leads the Information Security department to maintain Shaw Trust’s Information Security Management System (ISMS). This includes the continuous development, implementation and maintenance of the Group-wide ISMS and ensuring all parts of the business benefit by addressing information risks in an appropriate and systematically managed manner.

This includes maintaining close liaison with the Group’s Data Protection Officer (DPO), to assist the DPO with compliance with the DPA 2018 / UK GDPR requirements across the Shaw Trust Group.

Essential : You will have :

  • Educated to degree level and / or significant experience within a relevant field
  • Recognised qualification in Information Security or the auditing thereof
  • Experience of leading people
  • Experience working with and improving systems and processes
