The opportunity
You'll be the Technical Lead for our Reward Platform, leading a team of Software Engineers to design, develop and maintain a large-scale eCommerce platform.
Reporting to an Engineering Manager, you’ll execute the roadmap, support product goals, and deliver value for customers, partners, and the business.
Our platforms connect millions of customers to over 125 global partners, enabling seamless and reliable experiences to collect and spend Avios.
What you’ll get up to
You will be leading a team of Software Engineers to define the technical vision and strategy for the product in collaboration with the Club Architect and the Product Manager.
Your role extends to collaborating with various teams to deliver a robust, scalable product that meets our business needs and ensuring that the live product operates safely and meets DORA targets.
You'll provide essential technical leadership and guidance across the full stack, front-end and microservices, mentor junior team members, and ensure successful execution of our product roadmap.
Your leadership and mentoring will foster a collaborative work environment and ensure your team remains up to date with industry trends. Your contribution will be invaluable to our team and the success of our product.
What we need from you
The role has a blended base, between our Central London office and home. We trust you to make the right decision about the type of work that is best done in each location. We expect you’ll achieve a 50 / 50 split between the two and there may be times where you’ll want to visit our other locations to tell their stories, too (fully reimbursed).
