We are currently looking to recruit a Risk Manager to join our Risk team. Reporting to the Group Senior Risk Manager.

The successful candidate will work in the second line of defence as a risk management subject matter expert for the business.

Responsibilities :

  • Support the Chief Risk Officer in the development and embedding of the risk management framework.
  • Effectively challenge stakeholders at all levels on application of the risk framework and risk appetite statements.
  • Deliver regular reporting to and behalf of the Chief Risk Officer, suitable for Board and Subcommittee audiences.
  • Provide risk training and support to key stakeholders, including Senior Managers.
  • Provide risk advice and guidance to all stakeholders and on projects as appropriate.
  • Champion a proactive risk-focused approach to the delivery of strategic and business objectives.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience working in a FCA regulated financial services business. IRM Diploma or equivalent qualification preferred. They will be an analytical thinker with experience of enterprise risk management principles and best practice, specifically including;

  • Defining and integrating risk reporting functionality
  • Defining and integrating risk management systems and controls, plans and oversight
  • Working with risk management software.
  • They should also have the ability to influence stakeholders to Senior Executive level and leverage / negotiate resources across the organisation to achieve goals and deliverables.
