EXPERIENCED CLASS 1 HGV DRIVERS REQUIRED FOR PEAK CONTRACTLocation : MANCHESTER / WORSLEYOur client, based in Manchester, is looking for experienced class 1 drivers for their peak contract. Every year they work on behalf of the UKs biggest mail distributor working in partnership to move trailers around the UK.The working patterns are flexible and we welcome full time and part time drivers.Monday to Friday20 : 30 and 22 : 30 start timesTHE JOBThis job requires the driver to pass a short induction / driving assessment.The job involves trunking trailers around key customer hub depots around the UK.Average shift length is approx 10-12 hours per dayShift Rates (Without Holiday Pay Included)- Nights - £175 per shift- Saturday - £210 per shift- Sunday - £220 per shiftShift Rates (With Holiday Pay Included)- Nights - £196 per shift- Saturday - £235 per shift- Sunday - £246 per shiftWHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A DRIVER : - We are looking for committed drivers looking for ongoing work.- Must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) HGV Licence.- For Insurance purposes you will need to have no more than 3 minor points on your licence.- For Insurance purposes you will need to have 12 months HGV Driving experienceWHY TEMP WITH SEARCH?- Search Drivers receive many benefits including : - Uniform & introduction Driver pack (High Viz, Clipboard, stationary)- Search Drivers will receive a full contract of employment- Flexible option to "bank" their holiday pay OR Add it to your hourly rate- Pension with Nest PensionsThe search driving team has got over 15 years experience, winning awards yearly.
