Job description

BMS Project Manager - West London An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced BMS Project Manager to take on a key role at one of the UK’s busiest and most complex projects. Based permanently onsite, this role involves managing vital infrastructure projects that help improve the airport’s energy efficiency, safety, and performance. You’ll be part of a dedicated aviation team delivering full-scale Building Energy Management System (BEMS) projects across a wide range of airport facilities – from terminals and plant rooms to energy centres and support buildings. The environment is fast-moving and highly regulated, requiring strong teamwork and technical focus. This position suits a hands-on BMS professional who’s confident managing projects, enjoys working with a range of stakeholders, and is motivated by the challenge of delivering work in a critical, high-profile setting. Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the full delivery of BEMS projects from planning to handover
  • Develop and track project schedules, budgets and resourcing plans
  • Act as the central point of contact for stakeholders, consultants and internal teams
  • Monitor on-site activity, ensuring all works meet quality, safety and airport standards
  • Coordinate commissioning and final integration of BMS systems
  • Lead regular site meetings and client briefings
  • Manage variations, procurement and commercial documentation
  • Ensure accurate reporting and documentation at every stage
  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to junior engineers Qualifications :
  • Demonstrable experience in BEMS project management
  • Deep understanding of BMS systems such as Trend or Tridium
  • Strong track record in delivering complex building controls projects
  • Excellent stakeholder communication and organisational skills
  • Able to work autonomously while contributing to a wider team effort
  • Willing to undertake DBS screening What’s in it for you
  • A competitive salary package, with strong earning potential through a generous bonus scheme
  • Additional standby allowance and regular opportunities for overtime
  • Access to a flexible company car scheme, including the option for fully electric vehicles — or take a monthly car allowance if you prefer to use your own vehicle
  • After 12 months, you'll have the opportunity to become part of an employee-owned business
  • A contributory pension scheme with 6% employer contributions to help support your future
  • Free private medical insurance to give you and your family added peace of mind
  • Life assurance valued at four times your annual salary
  • 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, with the chance to buy up to 3 extra days each year
  • Access to Cyclescheme (up to £2,500) to help you stay active and commute sustainably APPLY TODAY APPLICANTS MUST HAVE A RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK AND PRIOR EXPERIENCE WORKING IN THE UK CONSTRUCTION MARKET Before commencing employment you will be required to fully complete a pre-employment screening process consisting of a basic criminal record and credit check. Please note that unfortunately, any applicants without the relevant work experience, or the Right To Work in the UK will be unsuccessful.
