NES Fircroft are currently looking for a QC Inspector for a global oilfield services client of oursbased in Kintore. This is an initial6 month contract in which there is scope for this contract to transition into a permanent role further down the line. Location : Kintore,Inverurie Positions : 2 Duration : 6 months (high possibility to extend and temp to perm) Shift Pattern : Rotating day / night shift (2 week reset) Note : This position is open to UK nationals only, as we are unable to provide work permits. Initial 1-2 months : Day shift only Day Shift : Mon-Thu 07.30-15.30, Fri 07.30-14.30 Night Shift : Mon-Wed 19.00-05.30, Thu 19.00-04.30 Night Shift Allowance : Basic rate x 1 / 3 Essential experience : Machine shop inspection experience. In this key role, you will work closely with departmental managers, production staff, and suppliers to ensure quality, aiming to minimize rework costs and maximize customer satisfaction. You will oversee all activities related to the final inspection of various products and relevant documentation. Duties & Responsibilities : Monitor and report Quality Assurance and Quality Control aspects of required work scope packages. Ensure the accuracy of all project documentation related to API 6A and required component parts. Complete various inspection and quality reports to the required standard. Ensure traceability of all parts and documentation trail. Record and document traceable information to certify the manufacturing process to the highest standards. Verify that all documentation is present and correct. Interpret API standards and client requirements to ensure relevant standards are met. Identify engineering faults and process inputs throughout key stages of component manufacture.
