Eden ScottBearsden, United KingdomEden Scott's client is seeking experienced paraplanner looking to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented, driven paraplanner to join a leading financial planning firm based in either Edinburgh or Stirling.
Our client is a well-established financial planning firm dedicated to providing expert advice and exceptional service to their clients. With a focus on delivering tailored financial solutions, our client pride themselves on their supportive, collaborative work environment. The current team is expanding, and are looking for an experienced paraplanner to help them to continue to grow and serve their clients with excellence.
As a paraplanner, you will play a key role in supporting the financial planners with the preparation and delivery of comprehensive financial plans. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of their financial services.
Key Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct thorough research on financial products, investments, pensions, and other relevant financial solutions to provide informed recommendations.
- Assist in the creation of client financial plans, including gathering and analysing data, preparing reports, and drafting recommendations for the financial planners.
- Ensure that all recommendations and advice adhere to regulatory standards, compliance requirements, and the firm's policies.
- Liaise with clients to gather necessary information, update them on the status of their plans, and ensure that their financial goals are on track.
- Prepare suitability reports, monitor client portfolios, and assist with data entry, documentation, and other administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow.
- Keep up to date with industry trends, regulations, and financial products, ensuring that your knowledge is always current.
