Salary : From £65,000+ depending on skills and experience
What you'll be doing :
- Providing BAE Systems Submarines with legal advice across all aspects of the SSN-AUKUS Programme
- Supporting the AUKUS submarine programme in relation to all of its project contracts (prime contracts and sub-contracts) and other enablers, including identifying and mitigating key risks
- Collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and international partners, to negotiate and execute the AUKUS contracts
- Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to international trade, intellectual property, and data protection

The Submarines Legal Team :
You will be joining a dynamic legal team at the forefront of multiple high-profile, internationally significant programmes with far-reaching global impact. In this role, you'll primarily be working on the AUKUS submarine programme. AUKUS is a defence and security partnership between Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States, announced in September 2021. A major part of AUKUS (pillar 1) is to support Australia in acquiring its first conventionally armed, nuclear-powered submarine fleet.
