Job Title : Night Shift - Transport Operator Location : Sittingbourne Contract Type : Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours : Wednesday to Saturday, 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM Salary : £31,500 per annum Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transport Operator to join a dynamic and friendly team. This role is essential in managing vehicle utilisation and ensuring drivers receive clear, accurate instructions while maintaining compliance with service levels, driver hours, and Health & Safety regulations. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the effective use of drivers, vehicles, sub-contractors, and agencies.
• Ensure driver compliance with safety standards and legal driving hours.
• Collaborate with the retail department to optimise fleet and driver usage.
• Manage equipment control to meet customer requirements.
• Investigate accidents and driver performance issues.
• Support compliance efforts, including timely data downloads and vehicle legality.
• Assist drivers with breakdowns and callouts.
• Communicate delivery delays to customers via appropriate channels.
• Ensure ASN compliance and accurate load matching.
• Complete documentation for accidents, incidents, and near misses.
