Job descriptionOperate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Hold a valid UK Category C Driving Licence Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Hold a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Experience driving any commercial vehicles Previous experience conducting multi drop deliveries Driving assessment must be passed Following the driving assessment, there will be a one day paid induction Industry related training and support throughout This client values its workers and provides an excellent work environment If you are looking for high-paying, reliable work, click below to apply today or get in touch with our recruitment team to find out more
