Senior Engineer

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to join our team on a major project based in Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role within a dynamic site environment, working with a leading Tier 1 contractor. Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and support a team of up to three Junior Engineers on site
• Ensure all engineering and technical aspects of the project are delivered to a high standard
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Maintain quality control procedures and ensure compliance with industry standards and health & safety requirements
• Provide technical guidance and support across all phases of the project
• Assist with planning and reporting to keep the project on schedule Requirements :
• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a Tier 1 contractor environment
• Strong technical background with the ability to lead and manage junior engineers
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Degree qualified (preferable, but not essential depending on experience)
• Proficient in relevant IT systems and construction software
• SMSTS qualification (preferred)
