Reporting to : Ultimate Performance Leader
Contract : Seasonal work during summer school holidays
Hours : Monday to Thursday, 8.30am – 5.30pm
Location : Reading, Berkshire

Position Summary

The Ultimate Performance Instructor is responsible for delivering our Ultimate Performance programme, ensuring the welfare and safety of children at all times. We seek enthusiastic and experienced Performing Arts teachers or professionals with qualifications (Drama school / University degree) to help us inspire children daily.

The role involves following scripts, choreography, and music to deliver engaging performing arts sessions to small groups of 7 to 12-year-olds, fostering their talents through musicals. You will motivate and conduct fun, inspiring musical theatre workshops, guiding children through a timetable emphasizing fun, teamwork, and skill development. Additionally, you will have a pastoral role, acting as a group leader and ensuring their welfare.

Responsibilities

Deliver energetic coaching sessions that develop skills and promote fun.

Adapt sessions for different ages and abilities, providing challenging and safe learning environments.

Communicate effectively with children.

Analyze performances and suggest improvements.

Supervise and engage with children outside of sessions.

Promote children's welfare continuously.

Exhibit high energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism, acting as a role model.
