Class 1 Relief Driver Location : Queenslie Shift : Monday to Friday, Days or Nights Days start between 07 : 00hrs - 08 : 00hrs, finish time circa 17 : 00hrs - 18 : 00hrs Nights 18 : 00hrs - 04 : 00hrs Do you have a UK Class 1 CE Licence? We have an exciting opportunity for you to become a key player in our logistics operations! About the Role : As a Class 1 Driver, you will : Use a curtain side trailer for multi-drop trunking between Inverness, Aberdeen, Haydock or Birmingham, ensuring smooth and timely deliveries. Reload and then head back to Queenslie, keeping our operations running seamlessly. Ensure goods are loaded and secured correctly to prevent shifting or damage. Use straps, nets, and other securing devices as needed. Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability. Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met. Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices. This is a permanent full time position to cover holiday and sickness. Therefore, a flexible approach is required as the position will involve covering both day and night work.Essential Skills and Qualifications Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence. Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card. Current Counterbalance licence. Passionate about providing excellent customer service. Ability to work to deadlines.
