Location : Northamptonshire, Peterborough, Norfolk, England

They are now offering an exciting opportunity to join as a Specification Sales Manager, providing innovative lighting solutions across sectors including Education, Healthcare, Commercial, MOD, and MOJ.

Role of the Key Account Manager

  • Promote the purchase of high-quality lighting products, including lighting, lighting controls, and luminaires.
  • Create demand through strategic project hunting.
  • Influence decision-makers such as contractors, consultants, specifiers, architects, local authorities, and end users.
  • Develop and maintain relationships to drive specifications and close project opportunities.
  • Support lighting designers to ensure optimal product solutions.
  • Identify and convert new project opportunities into sales.
  • Align activities with company policies.

Benefits

Salary : £55K - £65K, with potential earnings of £90K - £100K+

Benefits include a company car, healthcare, 24 days holiday plus bank holidays and extra days for Christmas shutdown, and additional benefits.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in lighting, particularly external sales, with knowledge of sectors like education, healthcare, local authorities, MOD, and MOJ.
  • Proven relationship-building skills with consultants and end users.
  • Understanding of project sales processes.
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing specifications.
  • Aspiring, driven, and eager to learn and develop.
  • A natural relationship builder with strategic, technical, and people skills.
