About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated EMC Technician to join our team in Manchester. This is a hands-on, full-time, onsite position ideal for someone with a background in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and a passion for precision and problem-solving in Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) testing.
Key Responsibilities
Set up Equipment Under Test (EUT), associated test cables, and perform tests according to established procedures and standards.
Operate EMC test equipment as outlined in the EMC test plan.
Maintain accurate test logs, notebooks, and documentation including data sheets and checklists.
Assemble and disassemble test setups efficiently.
Monitor and ensure the calibration status of all testing equipment.
Complete and manage all required EMC test documentation.
Experience
Experience in EMC testing or a similar technical role preferred.
Proven ability to interpret and follow test procedures and compliance standards.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications & Skills
Diploma or BS in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proficient in MS Office 365 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Practical, hands-on experience in a lab or testing environment.
Problem-solver with sound judgment and a flexible mindset.
