Description

The job provides exposure to :

  • A large, Linux-centric, multi-tenant public cloud environment
  • Configuration management tools
  • Heavy use of cloud-managed services (DBaaS, IaaS, etc.) to offload undifferentiated maintenance work from the team
  • Databases of various shapes and sizes, including relational databases, columnar databases, NoSQL, etc.
  • User-facing systems in various shapes and sizes (Windows, Macs, Linux endpoints, physical and virtual)
  • A SaaS-heavy corporate environment that favours flexibility and agility over legacy on-premise technologies
  • Cloud video-conferencing and phone systems
  • Various storage technologies including object storage, file share systems, and cloud-based platforms such as Sharepoint
  • Customer facing experience, internal and / or external demanding stakeholders

Profile

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Experience :

  • Server administration - Windows and Linux
  • Public cloud (particularly AWS, Azure beneficial too)
  • Scripting / programming (Powershell, Python, Bash, etc.)
  • Mobile device management controls (MDM / MAM)
