Essential skills of a Divisional Sales Director :
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Mortgage and Protection Advisor within the financial services industry, with a proven record of motivating and leading high-performing teams.Experience working with senior management to outline and achieve business objectives through strategic management, providing clear direction and purpose.Drive to advance the business, build and sustain long-term performance, supporting all other business streams in a ‘One Team’ operation.Ability to coach and develop advisers and managers to reach their full potential in productivity, service, and professionalism.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Self-motivated, confident, flexible, accurate, well-organized.Ability to react quickly and efficiently to market conditions, regulatory changes, and business objectives.Your responsibilities :
Support the Chapter Managing Director in delivering the financial services strategy to drive income, profitable growth, and continuous improvement.Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing Financial Services team, embedding core values and principles.Prepare, deliver, and monitor the division’s income and profit budgets.Maintain knowledge of financial services regulation and core products.Monitor KPIs, including customer satisfaction, and develop initiatives to improve these metrics.Promote cross-sales and referral activities, and implement initiatives to improve results.Ensure systems and controls are in place to manage risks and standards.Maintain supervisory responsibilities as per the Network’s Training and Competence scheme.Communicate regularly with the Head of Sales Quality and Financial Services Director.Handle customer complaints following company procedures.Adopt HR best practices, including recruitment, training, performance management, and employee relations.Create a coaching culture to foster high performance.Collaborate across business streams to maximize profitable relationships.Share best practices within the Financial Services Chapter.Core Behaviours :
