Location : Remote working within 50 miles of Southampton

Salary : £35K - £45K + performance-based bonus

Hours : Fully remote, flexible working

Benefits : 23 days holiday + bank holidays (increasing by 1 day per year of service), pension, personal development budget, regular mentoring and check-ins with the founder

Aspire Jobs is delighted to be working exclusively with our client, a leadership development consultancy, which is now looking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join their team. This is a vital role to help expand their reach and amplify their philosophy. You will be responsible for generating consistent opportunities for growth through events, partnerships, digital campaigns, and thought leadership.

Our client works with high-value businesses that are growing and want to develop a strong leadership culture.

The purpose of this role is to get our client in front of clients via events, sending out their book to HNW individuals, or creating meaningful touchpoints.

This is a hands-on, creative, and strategic role for someone who genuinely loves marketing and is excited to build, iterate, and make things happen. They are at the start of their growth phase, having been established in 2017. It’s a brilliant time to join as you can shape the role into your own.

The successful Marketing Executive will :

  • Have a marketing background from a small business, agency, or as a solopreneur
  • Have a digital and events bias
  • Be passionate about marketing – someone who gets a buzz from seeing ideas land and results come in
  • Able to work independently and make strategic suggestions to fill gaps and push things forward
  • Be a self-starter who can think for themselves
  • Be a problem solver
  • Be confident writing copy, thinking creatively, and building simple systems that scale
  • Be organized, proactive, and enjoy wearing multiple hats
  • Background within a consulting, leadership, SaaS, or B2B environment is preferred but not essential, or comfortable with tech
  • Experience creating digital marketing campaigns from scratch
  • Experience managing events or partnerships end-to-end
  • Knowledge of CRM and email tools (e.g., HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp)

Job Description

The Responsibilities of the Marketing Executive include :

  • Distributing their product to ideal clients annually
  • Building and managing a list of high-potential recipients
  • Creating follow-up sequences and nurture flows to convert interest into action
  • Securing 2 podcast appearances and 2 paid speaking engagements per month
  • Researching and pitching to aligned hosts, organizers, and media outlets
  • Managing briefings, scheduling, and post-event engagement
  • Organizing 1 organic client-facing event and 1 high-impact mastermind dinner per month in the same UK city
  • Partnering with recruitment firms, PE funds, and aligned organizations to co-host and co-promote
  • Managing logistics, invites, content, and post-event follow-up
  • Generating campaigns
  • Designing and executing targeted LinkedIn and email campaigns
  • Using storytelling, diagnostics, and behavioral insights to educate and convert
  • Leading organic growth on LinkedIn
  • Supporting community building (moving to lead over time)
  • Creating, testing, and optimizing email sequences, landing pages, and lead magnets
  • Supporting CRM and funnel management (e.g., list hygiene, tagging, reporting)
