The School and Role

Vision For Education are looking to appoint a Creative Art Assistant to work with young people who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs, autism, ADHD, PMLD, challenging behaviours and other learning difficulties in Glastonbury / Street. An ideal candidate for the role of Creative Art Assistant will be someone who can work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable and have excellent communication skills. The desired Creative Art Assistant will have a passion for working with young people and be able to build rapport quickly, supporting young people in making positive choices.

Requirements

The desired Creative Art Assistant will have :

• Experience of working with secondary and primary school aged children in schools.
• Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
• A passion for the progress of SEND primary and secondary school pupils.
• An ability to work as part of a team.
• An ability to build rapport quickly with students
• Key qualities such as : Patience, Sympathetic, Strong-willed
