We are honoured to be able to create a job role to help develop existing services offered in the Colours Hub thanks to Cumbria Community Foundation.

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Youth Worker to join our dynamic team. This is a part-time position offering 24 hours per week, with a competitive salary at Band 5.

Key Responsibilities :

• Engage with young people to support their personal and social development.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate youth programs and activities.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with young people and their families.
• Collaborate with community partners and other professionals.

Qualifications & Experience :

Relevant qualifications in youth work or a related field.

Experience working with young people in a community setting.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a 3 year post, funded by the Better Tomorrow's Fund within CCF.

Based in Whitehaven, the role will be 24 hours across 5 days, Tuesday to Saturday.

Experience of working with youth is essential and a knowledge of minority communities would be an advantage.
