Location : This role can be based in Wythall, Telford, London, or Edinburgh, with a mix of office and remote work.

Salary and benefits : £70,000 - £95,000 plus a bonus of 30-60%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, volunteering days, and more.

The role

The Principal Technology Solutions Lead will define and execute the strategic vision for the mobile and front-end practices within Systems Integration & Digital Engineering. This involves mentoring senior engineers, fostering innovation, and ensuring best practices and collaboration across teams.

Key Accountabilities

• Drive the strategic technical vision for mobile and front-end practices, aligning with business goals to maximize value.
• Mentor senior engineers and technical leads, promoting best practices in coding and deployment.
• Collaborate with Cloud Engineering to ensure efficient route-to-live processes.
• Lead high-level design and problem-solving efforts, addressing technical challenges.
• Partner with Solution Architects, Product Owners, and leadership to navigate technical complexities.
• Align stakeholders around software engineering practices to improve code quality.
• Co-develop reusable, scalable components aligned with the IT roadmap.
