About the Role :
You’ll support the private client team in delivering high-quality, empathetic service to vulnerable individuals and their families. The focus will be on Court of Protection (COP) matters, including assisting with the day-to-day management of client affairs, deputyship applications, and liaising with a range of professionals and family members.
This is a varied and rewarding role with significant client contact and opportunities for professional development. You will play an integral role in helping ensure smooth and compliant case handling — with a strong emphasis on accurate time recording and administrative efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supporting solicitors with Court of Protection and deputyship matters
- Drafting letters, legal documents, and client correspondence
- Preparing and filing forms / applications to the Office of the Public Guardian or the Court
- Liaising with clients, carers, medical professionals, and other third parties
- Managing diaries, appointments, and deadlines
- Ensuring accurate and timely time recording for all activities
- Assisting with financial administration, including reviewing statements and processing invoices
- Maintaining accurate case files and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulations
About You :
Previous experience in a legal support or legal admin role (private client or similar)Experience or interest in Court of Protection, deputyships, or vulnerable client workConfident in accurate time recording as part of daily processesEmpathetic, professional, and able to communicate sensitively with clientsHighly organised with strong attention to detailIT literate and familiar with case management systems (training can be provided)A team player with a positive, proactive attitudeWhy Join?
