Job description

RE Teacher (Fixed Term Contract)

Location : Windsor

Contract : Fixed term (September 2025 - February 2026)

Salary : MPS / UPS (dependent on experience)

Hours : Full-time

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated RE Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive team in a successful middle school in Windsor. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in a school that values high-quality teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons for KS2 and KS3 pupils
  • Foster a respectful and inclusive classroom environment that encourages critical thinking and discussion
  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to support whole-school initiatives and development
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities where possible

We are looking for someone who :

  • Holds QTS and has experience teaching Religious Education at KS2 and / or KS3
  • Has strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Is passionate about supporting pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development
  • Is organised, reflective and eager to contribute to the school community
  • Has a flexible and proactive approach to working in a dynamic school setting
