Vehicle Technician

Vehicle Technician Vacancy Croydon 40k basic + 12k bonus + company benefits As a Car Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician you will :

• Performing major and minor repairs
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services
• Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust
• Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.
• Carry out wheel alignment and tyre fitting
• Complete customer documentation while working to agreed time scales To be considered for our Car Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician vacancy :
• You will need to be level 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification)
• Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs
• Ability to identify worn and faulty components in accordance with the DVSA Standards
• Current, full UK driving license
• Precision in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards. Hours for our Car Technician / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician role : Monday to Friday 8.00 – 5.00 1 in 3 Saturday mornings paid @ overtime 8.00 – 1.00.
