An experienced sales engineer is required to join an innovation-led engineering solutions provider. The role primarily involves working with electro-pneumatic and pneumatic valves, sensors, and controls for manufacturing and production machinery automation in various sectors including food & beverage, automotive, aerospace, process & industrial, FMCG, and pharma.

This is a great opportunity to work from home, focusing on solution selling of technical engineering innovations to leading manufacturers.

This proactive sales position involves generating new business opportunities by selling solutions to engineering managers, rather than selling boxed products based on price.

Key Requirements : Field sales experience and expertise in new business development.

The Role :

  • Selling engineering solutions that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and lower maintenance costs, including automation solutions.
  • Booking appointments with Engineering Managers, Managing Directors, and Procurement Managers.
  • Account management and self-generating new business sales, following up on enquiries.
  • Selling to both existing and new customers within the territory.
  • Identifying opportunities for new solutions and collaborating with engineering teams and suppliers to develop them.

You :

  • Are genuinely seeking a field sales position and willing to pursue extensive new business opportunities.
  • Are engineering qualified, such as an engineering graduate, HNC, or apprentice-trained in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
  • Alternatively, an internal sales engineer looking to move into a field-based role will be considered.
  • Possess a valid driving license.
