What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the procurement of goods and services for our company. You will make use of your analytical and problem-solving skills, communication skills, and your ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the procurement of goods and services such as fabrics and raw components
- Manage purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services through follow-up communication and expediting action
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement activities align with company goals and objectives
- Analyze data and generate reports on purchasing activity
- Other duties / projects as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
1-2 years of experience in procurement or purchasingStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP softwareAbility to work independently and in a team environmentDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyPhysical Demands
Mobility necessary to perform a variety of tasks that involve standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, bending, and twisting, possibly reaching chest high and overhead for materialsAbility to lift / move / pull 10-50lbs occasionally throughout dayAbility to hear adequately on the phone or in person and group settingsVision : Required to have close visual acuity, color vision and depth perceptionUse of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate standard tools and equipmentMust be able to stand and or walk (90% of the day) and consistently reach, bend, and move inside the facility to move productEEO / VETERANS / DISABLED
