Security Engineer | Worksop (with travel on the road) | Full Time | £35,000 - £40,000 per annum
Our client is a specialist in both commercial and domestic fire / security and CCTV installations, supporting new builds and ongoing maintenance projects, to include monthly Planned preventive maintenance (PPM’S)
They are currently looking for Security Engineers to join their team in Worksop.
The successful candidate will be expected to provide safe and effective installations of electrical, security and supporting systems on sites throughout the UK. This will include testing and commissioning of the security systems and investigating and resolving unknown faults.

- Police clearance and full vetting, including DBS
- ECS / CSCS card
- Knowledge in CCTV, Intruder or access systems
- Full Clean Driving Licence

To undertake site surveys and provide the best technical advice on repairs, upgrades and installationsProject manage installations regardless of sizeTo be responsible for maintaining assigned PPE, tools and equipmentTo complete and submit client specific handover documentation to the client and project teamTo ensure a safe system of work is established and maintained for all projectsTo ensure assigned tools and equipment are thoroughly inspected as part of the ongoing equipment inspection regimeSupport the security & electrical supervisor and / or manager in the operational activities of contractsRespond to callouts to repair faulty systems and have a flexible approach to working hoursTake ownership of customer issues reported and see problems through to resolutionIdentify excessive working practices and identify and develop safer and efficient working practicesTo liaise with departmental staff, clients, contractors and suppliers in matters relating to work as appropriateTo willingly be part of the out of hours serviceEnsure the Electrical & Security is updated on developments, problems and other issues affecting the performance of contractsTo teach and develop apprenticesMaintain a strong understanding of SSAIB standards and actively support company policies, especially regarding the protection of sensitive customer informationComplete relevant paperwork to meet accreditations and standards, and maintain work vehicle in a safe, operational stateEnsure that work areas are kept clean and tidyOn-site documentation (RAMS, etc) is completed, signed and adhered to for every projectFollow all company proceduresWork professionally and courteously at all timesWhat can you expect in return?
