This is a pivotal role that supports the financial operations of the organisation and contributes to the company's strategic goals. The Assistant Accountant will play a pivotal role in providing essential support across various financial functions. This position is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a proactive approach to financial management. Key Responsibilities : Assist in financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Support accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Maintain accurate financial records and apply key accounting principles. Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial audits. Provide financial data and analysis to support decision-making and budget planning. Required Skills and Qualifications : Currently pursuing or holding a recognised accounting qualification. Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar financial role. Strong understanding of standard accounting practices. Excellent negotiation and contract management skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software. Desirable Skills : Professional certification such as CIMA or equivalent experience. Experience in R&D, project-based, or technical environments. What is on offer?
