Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.

Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

The new team has three locations : the Sauber Group's Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland), known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing; Audi's Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany), one of the most modern of its kind in Europe; and Sauber Motorsport Technology Center in the UK. Our Power Unit is from Neuburg, while Hinwil handles chassis development and race operations, with support from the UK.

Your mission

  • Be involved in all aspects of race car aerodynamic development, from initial ideas and design to analysis with numerical and experimental simulations.
  • Contribute effectively to complex aerodynamics projects, working closely with aerodynamicists, CFD engineers, and Aero designers to enhance race car performance.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects.
  • Keen to improve your technical skills and aerodynamics knowledge of race cars.

Your profile

  • Strong educational background in aerodynamics, with an engineering degree in aerodynamics or fluid mechanics.
  • Experience in planning and organizing aerodynamic projects against targets, collaborating with other Group Leaders.
  • Proficient in CFD and 3D CAD software (preferably CATIA 3DX).
  • Knowledge of CFD and wind tunnel testing techniques, and experience in running wind tunnel programs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical approach, attention to detail, and a high work ethic.
  • Ability to contribute to multiple projects and meet performance targets within deadlines.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to manage a small team.
  • Highly self-motivated, dedicated, creative, result-oriented, and flexible in working hours.
  • A team player with initiative, able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Open to learning and sharing knowledge with others.
