17.50 PER HOUR MONDAY TO FRIDAY NIGHTS 18 : 00-06 : 00
18.75 SATURDAYS ALL DAY
20.00 SUNDAYS ALL DAY
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in ASTON, WEST MIDLANDS.

Day to Day Duties
Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to :
RDC or customer deliveries which may include self tip for particular RDC'SOperating and driving various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locationsPerforming pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsuring all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhering to traffic laws and regulationsCommunicating effectively with dispatch and customersReporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssisting with loading and unloading of cargo as neededCompleting any paperworkEssential Skills
As a Class 1 Driver you will need to :
Hold a valid UK Category CE LicenceHave a minimum of 12 months experience driving CE vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesHave a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi CardMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsDesirable Experience
Experience driving any commercial vehiclesPrevious experience conducting multi drop deliveries will be beneficialTraining
