Leveraged Finance Associate

Our client is a top-tier US law firm with a standout reputation in the banking and finance space. There is a superb opportunity for an ambitious Associate to join the firm’s market-leading Leveraged Finance team in London.

Highly regarded for its commercial approach and technical excellence, the team advises across the full capital structure on a broad range of complex and high-profile transactions. The firm acts for lenders, borrowers, funds, private equity sponsors, and financial institutions on senior, second lien, mezzanine and PIK facilities, with particular strength in unitranche financings, private equity-backed buyouts, public bids, and corporate M&A financings. The team has played a key role in shaping the European private credit market and regularly advises on refinancings and recapitalisations for major international clients.

The successful candidate will have 5-8 years of PQE gained at a leading UK or international firm, with significant experience in leveraged finance and private credit transactions. Outstanding technical ability, a strong commercial mindset, and an interest in developing client relationships are essential.
