Electrical Design Engineer

Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer – Fully Remote

An Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer is required to join a growing team and work alongside senior engineers due to continued company growth. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in the UK residential and commercial building services sector. As an intermediate–level engineer, they will need to demonstrate a passion for electrical engineering with expertise in the following areas :

• Good understanding of residential and commercial buildings
• Full understanding of Building Regulations, British Standards and IET Wiring Regulations
• Ability to undertake lighting calculations using wither Dialux or Relux software
• Capable of completing electrical cable calculations using Amtech software
• Proficient in using AutoCAD
• Must be an effective communicator in both written and verbal skills
• Be able to manage their own time in order to meet strict deadlines
• An ability to follow company standards and use standard documents
• Have a keen eye for detail
• Liaise with senior members of staff to ensure that targets are met and that any issues arising on projects can be dealt with
• Preparation and reviewing of drawings completed by internal CAD team
