Connex Education is working with a mainstream primary school in the Stockton area who are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant, working with a child with SEND needs on a 1 : 1 basis and also within the schools special needs area. Start date is September .

About the school

The primary school is based in Stockton and focuses on creating a nurturing and positive environment where every child can grow and excel. They are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who will be a key person and 1 : 1 support for a number of pupils with additional needs. You will be involved with education health care plans and liaising with the schools special needs co-ordinator to ensure pupils needs are met. Working within this school you will be met by a welcoming team of SEND Teachers and Teaching Assistants working within the schools specialist area. We are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who is happy working in small groups and on a 1 : 1 basis.

Assignment Details

This is a full time role working Monday to Friday, the right candidate MUST be able to work form 8 : 30am – 3 : 30pm. Experience working with Special Educational Needs is essential for this role. The school may be able to accommodate part time hours, therefore if you can work 3 full days per week or 5 mornings per week you are still encouraged to apply.
