Job description

EVe Charging Pte Ltd is Singapore’s leading EV charging solutions provider, a wholly owned subsidiary of LTA tasked with managing EV charging point (EVCP) deployment for HDB carparks and undertaking supporting electrical infrastructure upgrades. With the opportunity to engage with both government and private sector stakeholders, the incumbent will gain valuable experience in EVCP installation and supporting efforts to reduce land transport emissions in Singapore.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for expanding business coverage, connections, and volumes. They will oversee strategic planning, marketing, new business development, and innovative solutions to grow revenue and reduce costs. The role involves leveraging data and tools to ensure the scaling of EVCPs and infrastructure upgrades is timely, effective, and efficient to meet public demand.

The scope of the Business Development Manager includes :

a) Business Development

  • Identify and research potential clients for EV charger deployment
  • Develop and refine business strategies, proposals, models, partnerships, and pricing strategies
  • Arrange meetings with prospective clients, support negotiations, and deliver pitches and proposals
  • Conduct site visits and address commercial / technical queries from clients
  • Design and implement tendering approaches and processes for various business models
  • Prepare and review tender documents, contracts, and agreements to support partnerships

b) Horizon Scanning & Partner Engagement

  • Research market and landscape trends related to EV charging
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders
  • Engage and build partnerships with strategic stakeholders
  • Requirements :

  • Tertiary qualification in any field
  • At least 3 years of experience in business development
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and financial skills
  • Sound business judgment and critical thinking abilities
  • Proactive self-starter with a problem-solving mindset and positive attitude
  • Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines effectively
  • Knowledge of technical / operational aspects of EV charger deployment is a plus
