Train Cleaner

The Role :

We are currently looking for an individual to join the night shift cleaning team, where you will be carrying out all aspects of interior and exterior cleaning, which includes duties such as :

• Hoovering
• Mopping
• Sanitizing touch points
• Cleaning / restocking toilets
• Cleaning graffiti
• Changing bins
• Picking up litter

You will typically be working within a team of four Train Cleaners, plus one Team Leader carrying out heavy and deep cleans on the Northern Rail fleet. This is a very fast paced and intensive role that requires a good eye for detail, as you will be cleaning everything on the inside of the train that the public can and cannot see.

You will be working 4 shifts across the week (Sunday to Saturday roster), with the working hours being 21 : 00 – 01 : 00, sometimes finishing at 02 : 00 when needed. You will be guaranteed 17.5 hours a week.

Pay Rate & Benefits :

The pay rate for the train cleaner position will be at £13.05 per hour on an initial 6-month basis.
