Manual Tester Power Apps & Microsoft Dynamics Public Sector 400475 / day (Outside IR35)

Location : Remote (UK-based)

Contract Type : 6 months initial

Clearance : BPSS or SC clearance desirable

A major public sector organisation is undergoing a large-scale transformation and is seeking an experienced Manual Tester to support the testing of business-critical applications built on Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365 .

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and execute comprehensive manual test plans and scripts across Power Apps and Dynamics 365 solutions

Collaborate with developers business analysts and product owners to ensure testing requirements are met

Identify log and track defects using tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira

Conduct functional regression and user acceptance testing

Support quality assurance processes throughout the SDLC

Provide clear test documentation and reports

Essential Skills :

Strong experience as a Manual Tester in Agile environments

Hands-on experience testing solutions built with Microsoft Power Apps and Dynamics 365

Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and defect life cycle

Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Jira)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desirable :

Public sector or government project experience

Knowledge of the wider Microsoft ecosystem (e.g. Power Automate SharePoint)

ISTQB or similar certification
