Learning Support Assistant - responsibilities :

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff members to provide tailored support for students who need additional help in their learning. The role will best suit aspiring teachers and Educational Psychologists.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Supporting children on a 1 : 1 or small group basis, helping them with their academic, social, and emotional development.
• Monitoring students' progress and helping them stay focused and engaged in their work.
• Providing additional support for children with special educational needs (SEN), including behavioural support.
• Supporting the classroom teacher in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.
• Helping with the preparation of resources and materials to enhance the learning experience.
• Encouraging independence and confidence in students while promoting their well-being.
