Electrician

Due to a contract win and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team in Glasgow. The main role will involve carrying out a range of electrical work on our clients' housing stock to ensure that electrical installations are safe for continued use, safeguarding service users, members of the public, clients' personnel, and Mears employees from potential electrical dangers.

The role involves working within our social housing sector, collaborating with other team members to complete tasks ranging from minor repairs to full rewiring and kitchen electrical work.

Role Criteria :

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• City & Guilds 18th Edition
• Inspection and Testing qualification
• Full UK driving license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and willing to travel

Note : All roles are subject to relevant DBS / Security checks before employment begins.

Driving Requirements : To drive a Mears vehicle, candidates must be over 21, have held their license for over 3 months, and have less than 9 points on their license.
