Junior / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location : Leeds (Office-Based) Salary : £30,000 – £34,000 (Depending on Experience) A well-established retail construction main contractor is expanding into Leeds and looking for a driven Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This role will suit someone in the early stages of their QS career who wants hands-on experience, strong mentorship, and long-term development in a dynamic and busy environment. What you'll be doing :

• Raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate records
• Submitting quotations to clients for review and approval
• Supporting the commercial team in managing subcontractor accounts
• Monitoring costs and assisting in valuations and variations
• Helping with project financial reporting and tracking spend
• Learning the full QS process from start to finish What we're looking for :
• 1–3 years of experience in a Junior or Assistant QS role
• Construction or Quantity Surveying qualification preferred
• High attention to detail and good with numbers
• Confident communicator, both written and verbal
