Maintenance Electrician Location : Newcastle, UK Salary : £41,000 + shift allowance Shifts : 4 on, 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 12-hour shifts) Holidays : 25 days + 8 bank holidays Type : Full-Time | Permanent | On-site We are looking for a proactive and dependable Maintenance Electrician to join our operational team at a mission-critical Data Centre in Newcastle. Working on a 4 on, 4 off rotating shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights), you’ll be responsible for ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of electrical infrastructure. • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive electrical faults
• Support and maintain critical systems including UPS, LV switchgear, standby generators, and PDUs
• Carry out fault diagnosis and repairs in a safe and timely manner
• Ensure accurate record-keeping through CMMS and compliance with maintenance schedules
• Respond to incidents, assist with investigations, and implement corrective measures
• Work closely with other shift technicians and external contractors
