Job Title : Head of Clinical Governance manager Location : Essex (covering several care homes across the area) Salary : £80,000 - £90,000 Contract : Full-time, permanent Sector : Health & Social Care

About the Role

We're looking for a Head of Clinical Governance to oversee the quality and safety of care across a few nursing and residential homes in and around Essex. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work closely with care teams and managers to make sure we're delivering the best possible care and meeting all regulatory requirements.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading clinical governance and quality standards across multiple homes.

Making sure we comply with CQC regulations and safeguarding rules.

Developing and updating policies, carrying out audits, and managing risks.

Supporting and mentoring care home managers and clinical teams.

Working alongside commissioners, healthcare professionals, and other partners.

Promoting a person-centred approach to care that puts residents' safety and dignity first.

Overseeing staff training and clinical supervision.

Traveling between homes across Essex and the surrounding area.
