Propositions Development Lead

The Propositions Development Lead is a strategic and cross-functional role responsible for designing, validating, and launching compelling propositions that align with customer needs, service capabilities, and business objectives. This role blends strategic proposition development with product management discipline to ensure propositions are market-ready, scalable, and commercially successful.

What you'll be doing :

Strategic Proposition Ownership

  • Define and evolve the long-term proposition strategy in line with business goals, market trends, and vendor roadmaps.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and lead the development of innovative, differentiated propositions.
  • Champion a customer-first mindset and ensure propositions are grounded in real-world needs and insights.

Product Management Integration

  • Apply product management principles to proposition development, including backlog prioritisation, MVP definition, and iterative validation.
  • Lead cross-functional squads through the proposition lifecycle using agile methodologies.
  • Own the proposition roadmap and ensure alignment with product, marketing, and sales strategies.
  • Define and manage proposition requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

    • Market and Customer Insight

  • Commission and analyse market research, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform proposition design.
  • Conduct customer interviews and usability testing to validate assumptions and refine value propositions.

    • Stakeholder Engagement

  • Influence internal stakeholders across sales, delivery, and product teams to ensure alignment and execution.

    • Go-to-Market Planning

  • Ensure propositions are effectively launched and adopted across internal and external channels.

    • Here's what we are looking for :

  • Extensive experience in proposition development, product management, or solution strategy within the IT or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of agile product development, customer discovery, and go-to-market planning.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex stakeholder environments.
  • Deep knowledge of IT services, cloud platforms, and digital transformation trends.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and commercial analysis skills.

    • Bonus Points :

  • Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field.
  • Certification in Agile, Scrum, or Product Management (e.g. Pragmatic, AIPMM, SAFe).
