Mixed Animal Veterinary Surgeon . Llanidloes, Mid Wales. £40k-£60k DOE.
Are you a vet who cares deeply about patient welfare and wants to work in a supportive, relaxed environment? Many practices are focusing more on profits than on quality care, leading to staff shortages and longer hours. This is not what you signed up for.

This role involves providing high-quality care to a diverse range of animals, including small animals, farm animals, cattle, and sheep. Responsibilities include diagnosing, treating, performing surgery, and offering preventative and emergency care.
The practice offers a relaxed, team-oriented environment where everyone's contributions are valued. They emphasize continued education and professional development, with strong links to the local university and expertise in poultry medicine.
The working week is 5 days, with 1 : 5 Saturday mornings and a fair OOH rota. The team enjoys social events like summer barbecues and regular outings.
Compensation includes a salary from £40k to £60k DOE, 31 days holiday plus bank holidays, accommodation options, CPD allowance, and work-related car and phone.
Located in Llanidloes, Mid Wales, the area offers shops, pubs, cafes, outdoor activities, forest walks, and historical sites—perfect for a balanced lifestyle.
Interested? Send your CV—even if it's not fully up to date. Feel free to ask questions; there’s no hard sell. Join a practice that values your skills and passion for veterinary care.
