Job descriptionExtensive experience in fibre delivery, ideally in network decommissioning or infrastructure change Strong understanding of fibre builds, including civils, cabling, splicing, and site audits Confident working with and managing external delivery partners Able to interpret fibre plans, schematics, and technical documentation Skilled with delivery and reporting tools (Planner, Power BI, GIS, Excel) Telecommunications background (Essential) Valid SC Clearance (Essential)
ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider who's end client is in the Mobile Telecoms sector. We are assisting them with the search for a Fibre Delivery Manager on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead fibre and network clearance activities across multiple sites
- Coordinate build partners to align civils, cabling, and splicing works with site closure timelines
- Validate and challenge planning outputs (e.g., HLDs, LLDs, job packs) to ensure quality and accuracy
- Provide clear delivery updates in programme reviews and governance forums
- Ensure GIS and inventory systems reflect completed field activities
