Ability to evaluate reports and provide cost-effective design solutions for land appraisals and land purchases. Behavioral Attributes Ability to take instructions and act upon them promptly and positively. Knowledge, Experience, and Qualifications Qualified to HNC / HND level with a sound understanding of engineering issues encountered by house-builders. Strong communication and presentation skills. Awareness of emerging legislation and its impact on the business.
Engineer / Senior Engineer
The engineering position and title are subject to the experience of the candidate. We are happy to discuss the position with engineers who have residential design experience at all levels, either consultancy-based or from within a residential developer.
This is an exciting time to join our business, particularly the technical department, as we are looking for candidates with drive and ambition to be part of our successful team.
Main Function
To provide and manage the engineering input on specific projects and support the Senior Technical team.
Key Functional Areas
- To provide cost-effective and innovative design solutions in a timely manner.
- To ensure that individual projects run smoothly from an engineering perspective.
- To keep the Technical Director informed of key issues.
- To act upon instructions from the Technical Director.
- To work in compliance with relevant CDM regulations and fulfill the gateways within the Miller Homes CDM tracker.
- To adhere to all relevant processes and procedures at all times.
