Job descriptionProven experience as a Pipefitter Strong knowledge of piping systems, installation techniques, and maintenance practices Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and within a team environment Flexibility to work at different site locations as required Commitment to adhering to all health and safety regulations Contract duration c. 7 weeks Initial location : Renfrew, then Alloa Paid 50 hour week
This role will begin at the client's site in Renfrew before moving off-site to Alloa. This contract is anticipated to last for approximately seven weeks.
Key Responsibilities :
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems according to specifications
- Determining the necessary materials and specifications for each project
- Ensuring all pipefitting tasks are completed to industry standards and safety regulations
- Performing regular checks and maintenance of the piping systems while addressing any issues
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and piping schematics
- Ensuring the proper functioning of the systems through rigorous testing and quality control
